Obituary for Johnnie Brown

Johnnie Brown
On June 17, 1930, Johnnie Sr and Alameda Brown welcomed their 10th child Johnnie Jr. Johnnie joined the Army where he received a Korean service medal with (2) Bronze service stars and United Nations Service medal. After leaving the Army, he worked for Red Bull towing service until they went out of business. Later to be hired at Superior Distribution as a delivery driver until he retired in the mid 90's. Johnnie married Beverly Clark, June 20, 1962 and her three daughters, Teresa, Rilinda and Kim. Later adding to this union two sons Johnnie III and Lincoln. Although the married with Beverly did not last, it did last with the girls. Johnnie loved to go to Boley, Oklahoma every Memorial Day to see the parade. He liked hanging out at the American Legion just shooting the breeze with the guys. On September 2, 2017, God called Johnnie home to glory to join his parents and brothers Lincoln, James and Donney and sisters; Flossie, Mattie, Rebecca and Ruth and a stillborn. He leaves to cherish his memories sons Johnnie III (Heather) and Lincoln Brown, daughters; Teresa Standifer, Rilinda (Jerome) Paschael and Kim Clark, sisters; Ora Morgan and Sallie Hunt, 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
